About Auntie Irma’s

We have always had a thing for things.

Not stuff for the sake of stuff. The useful object. The discontinued favorite. The odd little piece that makes somebody stop scrolling and say, “Wait—where did you find that?”

Auntie Irma’s is a wife-and-husband resale business led by Irma’s eye for the good stuff. Together, we source, evaluate, photograph and sell products primarily on eBay, with Amazon coming soon. We have a particular affection for housewares, collectibles, accessories, toys, kitchen products, vintage finds and recognizable brands.

The assortment can look eclectic because real life is eclectic. A great kitchen tool does not care that it is sitting next to a vintage toy and a leather wallet. What connects the inventory is judgment: Is it useful? Is it interesting? Is it hard to replace? Is it better than the sea of forgettable products surrounding it?

Experience changes what you notice.

Years around products teach you where quality hides: weight, construction, finish, materials, condition and all the small details that separate “nice photo” from “good buy.” We bring that eye to sourcing and that honesty to listings.

Look closely

The overlooked detail is often the whole story.

Describe honestly

A flaw does not improve because somebody found a thesaurus.

Price sensibly

Market value matters. So does not wasting everybody’s time.

Pack carefully

Shipping is part of the product experience, not an afterthought.

Why Auntie Irma’s?

The name is personal because Irma is at the center of it. Her eye for the useful, interesting and unexpectedly good gives the shop its point of view. It is still a two-person operation in the old-fashioned sense that actual people stand behind every transaction: we source it, list it, answer the message and pack the box.

That human scale is a feature. It lets us stay curious, follow the interesting item instead of a corporate assortment plan and remember that every order is going to a person—not a conversion rate.

We find the good stuff. Then we make it easy for the right person to find us.
